Smiley is a brand that we love – iconic, inclusive and creative – with a philosophy and spirit that is embraced and celebrated by the ravers, creators, activists and artists.
Our task was to launch a new collaborative collection between Smiley and ellesse across trade, press, social and digital – bringing together the playful and positive personalities of both brands.
With a collection made up of festival and rave inspired designs, our concept was to create studio imagery inspired by a ‘rave wherever, whenever’ ethos. We created fresh, colourful imagery with a strong product focus.
Continuing both brand’s focus on ‘play’, we hit the design stage to create eye-catching, layered visuals to be used across the launch. Tasked with designing and producing all trade marketing elements, we also added iridescent foiling to trade POS to communicate the reflective qualities of the collection.
In contrast to the colour-pop campaign content, we also produced clean product imagery for the sales lookbook and ecomm, paring back the styling and really showcasing the collection details.
All content went live across ellesse, Smiley and ASOS channels, with ecomm imagery created for the ellesse brand site.
