We linked up with model Rachelle Holland from Anti-Agency to shoot some new streetwear drops, here’s a look at what we created…
Where are you from?
Originally born and raised in Ghana, then moved to the UK age 10. I’m now living in the West Midlands!
Describe yourself in three hashtags:
#Free #Crazy #GrimeQueen
How would you describe your style?
I would say very comfortable. I go for comfort in my style and what I know suits my body. Lately I’m into prints and two pieces, also tracksuits.
What’s your favourite thing in your wardrobe at the moment?
I would say my latest purchase, a matching knitted jumper and joggers. It’s such a cosy set and I feel like a teddy bear wearing it!
What’s your dream outfit?
Anything Sita Bellan wears is my dream outfit.
Who or what influences your style?
I’m really into grime music and I love the rough vibes it gives, so lately all I want to wear is a tracksuit. I’m also highly influenced by Sita Bellan whom I’ve already mentioned, but her style is on-point and I would love to steal her clothes! All of them…
You give us a glimpse of your footwear collection on Instagram – you’re clearly into your kicks! What’s your favourite silhouette?
Currently my favourite shoes would be my black Nike Tn. They go with everything and they’re also very comfortable. I want them in many other colours!
What’s next on your footwear hit list?
I want to invest in some more colours of Nike Air Max 95s and my Nike Tn but recently I’ve been buying Air Force 1s – So I think my next pair will be a low top Air Force 1 in Navy, suede and with the gum soles, as all the ones I own are high tops.
How were you scouted?
I sent an e-mail to Anti-Agency and they got back to me with an interview/casting. Shortly after the meeting, I received a text saying they would love me on their books, which I was so happy about.
What do you love most about modelling?
I’m a very quiet and shy person, something I hate because on the inside I’m loud, crazy, funny and out there. However I find it hard to show that unless I’ve known the person for a long time. Modelling allows me to go into a casting or a job not knowing anyone and I like that because people open a new page with you, they want to get to know you. I love meeting new people and realising there’s other people just like me.
When you’re not modelling what are you up to?
I have a two year old son called Isaiah, so I’m normally chasing him or stopping him from doing something crazy. I also now work full time as a web assistant for a company based in Wolverhampton. Apart from that I’ve started to do some reading, something I’ve always hated, but want to get into to keep my brain alive, and also blogging!
Are you a morning or an evening person?
Definitely an evening person. I find it hard to function in the morning.
What do you do when you’re a bit bored?
I buy most of my stuff online, so when I’m bored – even if I don’t have the money to buy anything – I will just sit there putting things into my basket or wish list and it makes me feel as if they’re mine already! Sad I know!!!
What gets you on the dance floor?
Alcohol to be honest!
What do you order at the bar?
I like standard drinks, JD and Coke, sambuca, vodka and cocktails. I will not drink tequila! Although sometimes I’m forced to by friends!
What’s your party trick?
I don’t actually know! Would hoola hooping count as one!?!
What’s your most overused emoji?
It’s the one everyone uses when something is funny, the one with tears.
What motivates you?
My son, people around me and my goals.
What’s been your highlight of 2015?
Spending summer in London, I had the best time! Also spending time in Egypt and Greece.
What are you looking forward to next year?
I want to travel more and go to places spontaneously. Also working with as many cool brand as possible!
Random fact about you?
I’m 24 – people think I’m 17! lol
